Cultivating gratitude increases my happiness.

It has been said that we live in an age of abundance. We have everything we need.

Yet, there are many people who struggle to find meaning, purpose, and happiness.

Gratitude is essential for the health of my body. Gratitude creates emotional balance. It cultivates love and compassion for me and others.

I cultivate gratitude, and I connect to my inner source of peace and bliss in doing so. I stay centered regardless of my current circumstances in life.

My life is filled with many blessings. Each day I can learn new things, meet new people, and try new experiences.

I have excellent health and friends. I have wonderful family members. I have a lovely job. I have a beautiful home.

I can eat healthy, nourishing food, drink water to sustain myself, and seek to enjoy the gifts of time spent in nature. Many things fill my heart with pleasure. I am grateful for these things and that I have lived long enough to experience so much.

I can choose to focus on the negative or the positive. The choice is ours. I refuse to be a victim of my life situation. I can decide how to respond to any circumstance.

By cultivating gratitude, I can remain balanced and centered.

Today, I think about all those aspects of my life for which I am grateful. I remind myself how fortunate I am. I share my feelings of gratitude. I speak kindly to myself and feel good about myself. I keep a healthy perspective on life.
